Mums, gourds, Brussels sprouts, pawpaws, purple daikons, autumn flowers, okra pods, and really hot peppers were new last week.  Fall is in the air!

  • Priscilla, Blondee, McIntosh, and Prima apples were new last Saturday. Expect to see more apple varieties in the coming weeks. Compean & Sons had Honey Crisps and several other varieties.
  • Wild’s Apple Farm should have loads of apples coming this week according to owner David Boot. They also have delicious cider, cider donuts, cider slushies in hot weather and hot cider in cold weather.
  • Speaking of apples, they are in peak season right now. It’s time for apple pies, apple cobbler, apple crisp (see this week’s recipe) and an apple a day to keep the doctor away.
  • This weekend Tulip Tree Creamery will have Chicory mellow blue cheese in 5oz half pieces for $9 each or full size 10oz pieces for $16. Try it topped with homemade apple butter on fresh baguette.

It’s Week #3 of the month, so we have 3-in-1 Restaurant, BooYah Shrubs, Circle City SmokePets Wants Indy, and Trailhead Naturals with us this Saturday.

Royer Farm Fresh Meats is back this week after being out last week.

Xchocol’Art, Turchetti’s Salumeria, and Native Bread are out this week, but back next week. Guacamole & More is out as well. Farm to Product is out for the season.
