The Marion County Health Department is no longer prohibiting dogs at Farmers Markets. While we are happy to be able to welcome our dog friends back to the market, we want to be sure that we do it in a way that doesn’t compromise our ability to maintain social distancing.
This means that our long-standing dog rules are more important than ever. Click here for the complete Dog Rules.
After careful consideration, we have decided on the following guidelines:
- Dogs will be allowed at the Market between the hours of 10 am and noon on a trial basis.
- Owners and their dogs must be careful to maintain 6 ft. social distancing from other customers at all times within the Market and the adjacent parking areas.
- Please be careful not to leave dogs shut in hot cars while shopping (in the event that your dog(s) are not able to comply with the other rules and cannot stay with you in the market area).
