This Saturday we have a popular vendor returning, as well as Week #3 regulars. Look for all the garden and bedding plants you need to get planting, plus all the pots and hanging baskets to decorate your porches and patios this summer. And don’t forget breakfast and live music at our dining pavilion just off the northeast corner of the Market. See you there!
Traffic & Parking Tips
Thanks everyone for helping make traffic and parking better last week! We will continue to observe and make tweaks as we gain more experience. Here are some tips for this week: BRFM-FacilityMap Updated
- After entering from Meridian, you’ll see signage that clarifies you may turn right (north) toward the Market parking OR proceed straight to the additional south parking lots.
- Church-designated Handicapped & Reserved parking is all available for Market parking. The Market Handicapped spaces are next to the Market entrance.
- If you want to skip the hassle of finding a parking space in the Second Presbyterian lots and you enjoy a nice walk, consider parking at St. Luke’s Catholic Church at 75th & Illinois. The walk down Illinois is shaded and beautiful.
UPDATE: Native Bread will NOT be at the Market tomorrow. Hayley’s van was hit by a dump truck this morning and she couldn’t be in the kitchen baking today. She wasn’t hurt, just the van. She expects to be back next week.
Returning from 2019
We know you missed her last year — welcome back to Anna Powell and Farm to Product (hummus, pestos, soups, & salads). These small batch delights made from farm fresh ingredients make eating delicious and healthy a breeze. If you don’t already know and love her products, come check them out this Saturday.
Week #3 Vendors
This third week of the month, look for Apricot Sun, Batch No. 2, Caprini Farmstead Creamery, Corea Kimchi, Daisy Cakes, Hidden Pond Farm, Reton Gourmet, Russell Sheep Farm, and Say It Ain’t Salsa.
For ALL the info on which vendors will be with us on which Saturdays throughout the summer, see our Summer Market Vendor List.
Help for Pandemic-Stricken India
India is in the middle of a tragic second wave of Covid-19. Akshaya Bhat of Trailhead Naturals has created a fundraiser to help procure medical supplies for her homeland. All proceeds go to NGOs and charity organizations working in India. Donate here. She is also donating 10% of her sales from the last two and next two Saturdays to Covid Relief for India.
Live Entertainment for May 15th
Enjoy music by Two Starlighters this Saturday. Childhood friends, Pat & Eric offer folk rock originals along with standards and 60’s favorites. Find them down the path from the northeast corner of the Market in the tent next to the dining pavilion. Our musical guests work for free, so if you like what you hear, please leave a tip and/or purchase a CD.
