Vendor Highlights for Saturday, June 4th

Delayed start dates for vendors:
  • Amelia’s Bread‘s start date is delayed because of so much going on in their world. For now there is NO PLANNED START DATE but as soon as we know something, you’ll read about it here!!
  • “Italian” Coffee/Dessert Cake  from Tall Girl Pasta

Tall Girl specialty Pasta is new to town and working through the approval process at Marion County Health Dept. Anxious to meet BRFM customers, she plans to launch her debut this week with an “Italian cake” that she’ll make in her home kitchen. Stay tuned for pasta news!

  • Sunshine Valley Farm, our new lamb vendor, will start on 6/11. They’ll be once a month this year until they can build more inventory.
  • Farm to Product planned to start last week after she finished her law school finals (congratulations Anna!!). Unfortunately she took a tumble getting her product ready for Market and has a badly sprained ankle. But she’ll be with us next week with pestos, hummus, salads and more!
  • Tailored Toddies went through some major changes this year and feared staffing issues would preclude their participating. But good news – new staff on board, they will start on 6/11.
  • Pete’s Peaches will likely start on 6/25 but some of his varieties are a bit light this season.
  • My Dad’s Sweet Corn will also likely start on 6/25 but is weather dependent. We’ll keep you updated.
  • Wild’s Apple Farm will start on 7/9.
Other Vendor news:
  • Refreshing Tea from Wild Sage Tea Co.

Wild Sage Tea Co. is now serving cool and refreshing organic iced tea blend “Hibiscus Chill” with wild blueberries, UniTEA Lattes, and Arnie Palmers.

  • New Filipino egg roll vendor Lumpia Creations is joining us off-schedule this week so they can attend a family wedding next week when they would normally be with us. If you haven’t tried their eggrolls yet, you are in for a treat! This week they’ll be in a different spot next to Old Major on the west side of the Market.
  • Fields Farm Fresh Produce is out this week for a big graduation in the family.
