U-Relish Returns to BRFM

U-Relish offers an artisan small batch line of easy, nutritious meals for slow-cooking using beans, peas, lentils and grains. Products are vegan and gluten free but easily adapted to everyone’s taste.  Created by Cara Dafforn and housed at the City Market, U-Relish was also a vendor at the BRFM.  In 2022, Kim and Jack Tandy purchased the business to sell their products at local farmers markets and online.

WHAT’S COOKING: Keep Cool & Carry On!

Nothing cools and hydrates you in the summer heat like cucumbers. Add them to salsas for cool crunch, pair them with cream cheese or hummus for a light sandwich, or make super refreshing soups and salads that pair perfectly with anything you cook on the grill.  When the temperature rises, eat cucumbers – and carry on. Get the recipe.

Our musicians volunteer to perform at the Market, so tips are much appreciated!

MUSICAL GUEST: Market Area – Nick Ivanovich

It’s always good to have the popular Nick Ivanovich at the Market with his traditional Ukrainian folk music-influenced songs full of alluring minor modes and sweet melodies. Come listen while you shop!

MUSICAL GUEST: Dining Pavilion – Proctor & Strunk

Kevin Strunk and Mark Proctor play a wide variety of folk, country, bluegrass, and light rock covers as well as originals on guitar and mandolin. They’re always a big hit. Enjoy their music while you breakfast this Saturday!
