The Market will be CLOSED this season for two Holiday Saturdays – November 26 and December 24. We will be OPEN on December 31.

Vendor Highlights for November 12, Week 2

New Winter Vendors Starting this Week

  • Brics (ice cream, sorbets and floats) – weeks 2/4
  • Filigree Bakery (pastries, macaron) is not a new vendor per se, but is moving from holiday popups to regular part-time weeks 2/4.
  • Lumpia Creations (Filipino egg rolls) – weeks 2/4
  • South’s BBQ (sauce, seasonings) – week 2

Vendors Finishing their Summer Season

  • Weathered Plow Farm and Wild’s Apple Farm will both be with us through November.
  • Artisano’s will be out this week because of a shortage of peppers and tomatillos to roast. They hope to be back next week to finish out their roasting season.

New Offerings and Other News

  • Brics will be offering house-made sorbets and special ice creams (available only at BRFM!), English toffee and fudges. But to top it off, they will be making floats with apple cider, their Apple Caramel Pie ice cream and caramel sauce!
  • Tall Girl Pasta will be bringing frozen Pesto Lasagna this week! There will be two versions – chicken and vegetarian and each one will serve 3-4 persons. This dish was wildly popular with her former farmers market fans in Oklahoma!

Order a turkey soon!

Jason Michael Thomas is offering Becker Farms fresh, local turkeys. Order from his website and pick up at the market on November 19. Turchetti’s and Old Major Market are also taking orders for Becker Farms turkeys with their pick-up and delivery options.

Crave-worthy Casserole

Artisano’s Oils & Spices is out this week but will be back on the 19th with their pepper roaster. So, if you bought some before or plan to get some later, be sure to make this crave-worthy casserole. It would be a great game-day go-to with a pot of chili; or even a super-satisfying side with a southwestern themed Thanksgiving menu.

Danmore Kusaya

Dan Kusaya is a one-man band — cool, likeable, and unique. His musical mix is world and afrobeat-groovy. Dan uses story-like lyrics, and powerful looping of several instruments while performing original songs and more. Get an international breakfast like kimchi fried-rice or Filipino egg rolls and enjoy. He’ll have the whole Market swaying!

Our musicians volunteer to perform at the Market, so tips are much appreciated!
