Vendor Highlights for January 14, Week 2

Produce Vendor Update

  • All 4 of our produce vendors are back this week! And good news is, that in spite of the Christmas week freeze, the news isn’t as bad as it could have been. Some beds were hit harder than others, and while we may have a week here and there with a little less produce, there should be greens available most of the winter.
  • Full Hand Farm is taking Preorders only (due by 10 AM Fridays) now thru March. But like last year, they will bring a limited number of Grower’s Choice bags of produce for customers who were not able to get an order in for Saturday pickup.

Vendor Specials

  • Hole Pottery is having a blowout Seconds Sale (over 100 pieces) this week!
  • Bake Sale Bakery will be bringing full size and baby king cakes until Mardi Gras!

Vendors Out this Week

  • All regularly scheduled vendors are with us this week!!
  • Find the regular schedules and most current status of your favorite vendors on our weekly VENDOR MAP.

Gitcha Some Gumbo

The Carnival season started January 6th in New Orleans and will culminate in Mardi Gras on February 21st. Between now and then, why not celebrate with a steaming pot of gumbo featuring all the fabulous flavors of Cajun and Creole cooking. PS – it’s hot, hearty, and healthy too! Get the recipe.

Whobilados play a mix of lively traditional tunes and originals blending multi-part vocals, with varied instruments, for their highly listenable music.  Be entertained while you enjoy breakfast and beverage in the dining area. Our musicians volunteer to perform at the Market,
so tips are much appreciated!
