The 2023 Summer Broad Ripple Farmers Market, which opens May 6, will be at 6001 N Rural St, the same space the Market was held in 2020. The property belongs to Lowe’s and we are in the process of finalizing a lease agreement with Lowe’s Corporate in North Carolina. See the new location on this map.
Early this spring, the staff at Second Presbyterian Church let us know that the church would not be able to host the Market this summer. Increased activity at the Church on Saturdays meant there was not enough parking to accommodate both their own events and the Market. We are very grateful to the Church for their support during the two years they hosted us.
We considered several potential venues for the Market this summer including Broad Ripple High School and Broad Ripple Park. Ultimately, Lowe’s lot was the largest space with the best parking accommodations of all potential venues.
