A Saturday Morning Tradition: History of Broad Ripple Farmers Market
The BRFM got its start 30 years ago when Ross Faris and Peter George joined forces to bring produce from local farmers to Peter’s Restaurant. Since then, it has moved multiple times and grown to over 90 full and part-time vendors with a peak summer attendance of over 4,000 customers.

Remember to bring CASH in order to purchase from the few vendors who don’t take credit cards (Norman Mullet Farm, Johnnie Raber Family Farm, and Phelps Family Farm).
Lost & Found items are turned in to the BRFM Information booth – be sure to check there if you’ve lost something (water bottles, wallets, kids’ stuff) at the Market.
WHAT’S COOKING: Tomato Tart Tatine and Quick Tomato Vinaigrette
Summer is winding down with an overabundance of ripe tomatoes. Before you immerse yourself in all things fall, why not pay one last homage to summer with a tasty tomato tart and a sumptuous salad with tomato vinaigrette. There’s nothing like vine-ripe tomatoes in Indiana in the summer!

MUSICAL GUEST: North – Dan Kusaya
Danmore Kusaya is a one-man band — cool, likeable, and unique. His musical mix is world and afrobeat-groovy. Dan uses story-like lyrics, and powerful looping of several instruments while performing original songs and more.
MUSICAL GUEST: South – Blue Box
We’re pleased to have an encore by Blue Box – a quartet of saxophones! The musicians are from Butler and bring a whole new genre to our Saturday mornings. Come let them blow you away with their eclectic repertoire.
Our musicians volunteer to perform at the Market, so tips are much appreciated!
