Vendor Highlights for November 23 Week 4
(No Market Nov 30 so stock up!)
Thanksgiving Specials
- The warm weather has led to a bountiful harvest for Thanksgiving! This Saturday we’ll have fennel, celery, onions, squash, collards, chard, cabbage, garlic, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, diakon radishes, and so many beautiful greens and herbs!
- This is the last week of the season for Weathered Plow. Be sure to take advantage of their bounty this week – all perfect for Thanksgiving.
- Check out Christopher Farms this week! They are our newest produce vendor and our second Certified Organic vendor! They do beautiful and unusual greens, root vegetables and garlic varieties.
- Congratulations to Tulip Tree Creamery for 4 winning cheeses at the 2024 World Cheese Awards in November.
- Nightshade won Super Gold, Queen Anne’s Lace won Silver, and Milkweed and Trillium both won Bronze!
- Alcomy is releasing a limited edition Spiced Chai elixir, made with assam black tea, vanilla and mulling spices. This festive Fall elixir pairs well with tequila and lime or even just hot apple cider or ginger beer.
- Farm to Product is offering holiday recipes to her customers this week. She’ll have samples of her recipes that will include smoked salmon, cranberry pecan cheese balls, garlic herb and cinnamon honey compound butters, and spiced glazed nuts!.
- For those of you not receiving the weekly newsletter from Full Hand Farm, you are missing a real treat. Each week Genesis writes a short piece about life on the farm that is insightful and illuminating. The Thanksgiving issue this week is extra special.
Vendor Schedules
- No vendors out or off schedule this week!
To find vendor locations at the Market, check the newsletter Vendor Map each week or scan the Vendor Map QR Code at the entrance to the Market. Click here to see the complete list of our Winter Market vendors. The Vendor Map and Vendor list are also available on our website.
Remember to bring CASH in order to purchase from the few vendors who don’t take credit cards (Norman Mullet Farm and Phelps Family Farm).
Lost & Found items are turned in to the BRFM Information booth – be sure to check there if you’ve lost something (water bottles, wallets, kids’ stuff) at the Market.
WHAT’S COOKING

A perfect Thanksgiving side! There’s a bit of everything to love – butter, sugar, spices and savory salty bacon! Not a squash fan? Just substitute sweet potatoes! Get the recipe.
MUSIC AT THE MARKET
Thistle Sisters
We love having the folk duo Thistle Sisters – Julia Spangler and Taz Watlers – at the Market whenever we can get them! Great music from two talented and enterprising entrepreneus. Come listen while you shop and linger over breakfast! Our musicians volunteer to perform at the Market, so tips are much appreciated!
