Remember to bring CASH in order to purchase from the few vendors who don’t take credit cards (Norman Mullet Farm and Phelps Family Farm).

WHAT’S COOKING:
Coconut Fish Curry

This flavorful coconut fish curry uses xawaash, an easy to make spice blend that is at the heart of Somali cuisine. Xawaash gets its heat only from black pepper! It works especially well with the beautiful halibut from Wild Alaska Salmon & Seafood.  Get the recipe.

MUSIC AT THE MARKET:
Dan Kusaya

Danmore Kusaya is a one-man band — cool, likeable, and unique. His musical mix is world and afrobeat-groovy. Dan uses story-like lyrics, and powerful looping of several instruments while performing original songs and more.  Our musicians volunteer to perform at the Market,
so tips are much appreciated!
