Vendor News and Updates
- If you missed new vendor Yoltlayohle’s fresh masa dough and tortillas last Saturday, they’ll be back on April 19 and 26 with their masa and some new products too!
- The new 4-inch pies were a big hit last week at Pots & Pans! Another surprise – one of the mini pies is a refrigerated pie that made its debut at the Market – previously only available at the store!
- Home Ec Preserves is bringing Banana Jam and Strawberry Rhubarb Jam this week!!
- We just got confirmation this week that the Summer Market will take place int he same location as last year – in the parking lot behind Lowe’s in Glendale. The Summer Market starts on May 3 and hours change back to 8 AM to 12 noon.
Vendors out/schedule changes
- Lumpia Creations is out this week, back on March 22.
- Farm to Product will be out for a few weeks taking care of some health issues.
To find vendor locations at the Market, check the newsletter Vendor Map each week or scan the Vendor Map QR Code at the entrance to the Market. Click here to see the complete list of our Winter Market vendors. The Vendor Map and Vendor list are also available on our website.
Remember to bring CASH in order to purchase from the few vendors who don’t take credit cards (Norman Mullet Farm and Phelps Family Farm).
Lost & Found items are turned in to the BRFM Information booth – be sure to check there if you’ve lost something (water bottles, wallets, kids’ stuff) at the Market.
WHAT’S COOKING:
Brown Butter Bucatini with Charred Cabbage
Charred cabbage brings a complex combination of flavors, from savory to bitter to sweet, to this simple but satisfying weeknight pasta. The pecans play off the natural nutty notes of the charred cabbage and brown butter. Get the recipe.
MUSIC AT THE MARKET:
Mario Joven
We are pleased to welcome back BRFM favorite, Mario Joven with Steve Goodman on fiddle. Mario always brings together interesting artists for a great sound! Come enjoy them with your coffee or listen while you shop! Our musicians volunteer to perform at the Market, so tips are much appreciated!
