Albert Rene Trevino (1965-2025)
A long-time vendor at the BRFM, Albert Trevino, has passed away. Albert (Rene’s Bakery) was with the Market from the early days right up until Covid; and we all looked forward to seeing his smiling face and eating his delicious pastries each week. A celebration of Albert’s life will be held on June 1 from 3-6:30 at the Indy Art Center.

WHAT’S COOKING: Strawberry Lemon Trifle
There’s nothing as beautiful and show-stopping, IMO, as a trifle. The view through a straight-sided glass bowl to the lovely layers of fresh fruit, spongy cake, and creamy pudding is the stuff of dreams. And they’re surprisingly easy to make and endlessly versatile.

MUSICAL GUEST: North – Squirrel Butter
Squirrel Butter duo of Charlie Beck & Charmaine Slaven explore old-time, bluegrass, blues, country, & cajun genres on the banjo, guitar, fiddle, steel guitar, step-dance, and in song. They recently moved their family to Rocky Ripple and we’re happy to have them back at the Market!
MUSICAL GUEST: South – Fall Creek Delta Boys
The Fall CreekDelta Boys bring us traditional American folk music including bluegrass, jug band, blues, train songs, early country, children’s tunes, waltzes, cowboy songs, gospel, and 1960s folk numbers. All fun!
Our musicians volunteer to perform at the Market, so tips are much appreciated!
