WHAT’S COOKING: Honey Roasted Rhubarb Salad

Rhubarb is misunderstood – to start with, it’s a vegetable. People usually think it’s a fruit because they see it in pies, jams, and other sweet treats. But it’s not only a vegetable, it’s also a real nutritional superstar. It’s an excellent source of dietary fiber, high in vitamin K, and rich in anti-inflammatory antioxidants. Try it in this super spring salad! Get the recipe.

MUSICAL GUEST: North – Thistle Sisters

We just love having the folk duo of Julia Spangler and Taz Walters  (aka Thistle Sisters) at the Market whenever we can. Great music from two talented and enterprising entrepreneurs. Come listen while you shop and linger over breakfast!

MUSICAL GUEST: South – Pat McBride

Enjoy music by Pat McBride this Saturday! Pat brings us folk rock originals along with standards and 60s favorites. His mix of tunes is always entertaining and very popular at the Market.  Come listen to him sing and play while you browse the booths.

Our musicians volunteer to perform at the Market, so tips are much appreciated!
