  • Christopher Farm was notified last week they were chosen as the Randolph County Soil and Water Conservation District’s conservation farm of the year!! Her newsletter (sign up if you don’t already get it – it is well done) credits her customers’ support for enabling their work to make healthier food available to everyone! At Market this week, they’ll have lettuce mix, whole butterhead lettuce, carrots, arugula and scallions!

Remember to bring CASH in order to purchase from the few vendors who don’t take credit cards (Norman Mullet Farm and Phelps Family Farm).

WHAT’S COOKING:
Salmon, Spinach, and Cherry Tomato Curry

Poaching salmon is a remarkably foolproof way to prepare a flavorful dinner, especially when you do so in a pot of rich and fragrant coconut milk, radiant from sweet cherry tomatoes and with a hint of spice from chile and ginger.

MUSIC AT THE MARKET:
Proctor & Strunk

Kevin Strunk and Mark Proctor play a wide variety of folk, country, bluegrass, and light rock covers as well as originals on guitar and mandolin. They’re always a big hit. Listen while you breakfast this Saturday! Our musicians volunteer to perform at the Market, so tips are much appreciated!
