Remember to bring CASH in order to purchase from the few vendors who don’t take credit cards (Norman Mullet Farm and Phelps Family Farm).
Lost & Found items are turned in to the BRFM Information booth – be sure to check there if you’ve lost something (water bottles, wallets, kids’ stuff) at the Market.
WHAT’S COOKING: Lamb Chaap (Yogurt-Marinated Lamb Chops)
Traditionally prepared over coals or in a tandoor for maximum char and smokiness, chaap (the Urdu and Hindi word for “chop”) is known for its deeply heady marinade and tender meat.
MUSIC AT THE MARKET:Thistle Sisters
We love having the folk duo of Julia Spangler and Taz Walters (aka Thistle Sisters) at the Market whenever we can. Great music from two talented and enterprising entrepreneurs. Come listen while you shop and linger over breakfast! Our musicians volunteer to perform at the Market, so tips are much appreciated!
