SNAP (EBT) and Fresh Bucks are available for customers with a Hoosier Works card or SNAP EBT card. Market Volunteers can swipe a customer’s Hoosier Works card and give out as many SNAP tokens as a customer requests. Just visit the BRFM booth/table inside the entrance of the Market.
SNAP tokens can be used like cash for SNAP eligible products at the Market. In addition, for every SNAP token given out, SNAP customers will also receive up to 20 Fresh Buck per week to use on fresh fruits and vegetables. Note: the same system is used at all Marion County markets so if a customer gets Fresh Bucks at one Market, they won’t be eligible for Fresh Bucks at the second Market on the same day.
