Thank you for your interest in becoming a Musician at the Broad Ripple Farmers Market (BRFM). BRFM is pleased to be able to serve the greater Broad Ripple community by offering a local, year-round marketplace for regional produce and animal farmers, bread and pastry artisans, plant and flower growers, cheesemakers, and specialty food producers. We also have several vendors serving breakfast foods and drinks and like to provide live entertainment for our customers.
The Market is held outdoors May through October and indoors November to April.
The Market is non-profit and Musical Guests are not paid by the Market. Instead they volunteer to perform at the Market and they are compensated via tips from customers. Musicians provide their own equipment, including sound amplification. The Market provides electricity only during the Winter Market when located indoors. During the Summer while outdoors, the Market provides a tent. It is recommended that musicians bring speakers and a generator/battery, since there is no electricity available.
