The annual election of officers to the Board of Directors of the Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA) will take place at the Annual Meeting on October 17th. The Board provides guidance, oversight, and hands-on expertise in all facets of the organization. Through its volunteers and standing committees, BRVA monitors developments in the Village and works with city officials to promote neighborhood safety and improvements; communicates with its stakeholders on activities in the neighborhood; promotes its member businesses to the community, and sponsors numerous special events. These activities are designed to maintain and enhance the livability and desirability of Broad Ripple as a premier neighborhood and cultural district within Indianapolis. There will be a community gathering and socializing hour, information on the year’s accomplishments, recognition of several individuals who are making a huge difference in the community, and the election for members of the Board of Directors. Everyone in the Community is invited to attend the Annual Meeting. BRVA Resident and Business Members are also invited to cast their ballot for the election.
