braod ripple duck race rainbow bridgeThe BRVA needs volunteers to staff 30+ shifts to ensure the Duck Race is successful on August 29. We need help with event setup, teardown, and everything in between.

Work alongside Mayor Hogsett, one of our honorary Duck Droppers. Get the opportunity to make new friends, directly impact the prosperity of our beloved Village and get a free Broad Ripple t-shirt!

We need to fill these shifts:

  • Duck Dropper – drop 3,000 rubber ducks in the canal
  • Duck Peddler – sell ducks, handle cash & debit cards, must be 18
  • Super Slinger – distribute ducks post-race
  • Helping Hands – event setup & teardown
  • Tent Talkers – staff the BRVA booth, sign people up for our newsletter
  • Canal Control – ensure attendees don’t get too close to the canal
  • Warm Welcome – provide a cheery welcome, direct attendees

  • Farmers Market BRVA Booth on Saturday mornings 8-noon
  • BRVA Office Hours – 818 Broad Ripple Ave
    • Tuesdays 1-4pm & Thursdays 8-11am
  • Duck Race from 3-4:30pm

All event proceeds support BRVA programs and projects focused on enriching the community.
