You are invited to attend a Public Open House, held by Indy DPW, to view the plans for next year’s redesign and improvements of Broad Ripple Avenue. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 5:30-7 pm, with a short presentation beginning at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 6050 North Meridian Street. Masks are required indoors for all.
Broad Ripple Avenue

This project will improve the storm water infrastructure, enhance sidewalks, and add pedestrian safety measures, among other elements. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2022.

Description: The improvements will include new storm water trunk-line, storm water manholes and inlets, new storm water treatment structures, widening of the south-side sidewalk from College Ave. to Winthrop Ave., sidewalk and pavement replacement, pedestrian and traffic signal upgrades, ADA-compliant curb ramp construction, ornamental lighting, along with constructing a new 12’-wide multi-use trail from the Monon Trail to Primrose Ave.
