Our much-anticipated Ripple Effect 5K is Thursday evening (September 30), starting and ending at Sun King!
During the run, there will be some temporary road closures, and we want to make sure your evening travels go smoothly so here are the roads that will be temporarily and periodically closed for runners and walkers to pass between 6:15-7:30 pm:
The 3.1 mile run/walk starts at 6:30 pm and police will assist with traffic at intersections. Once the runners have passed an intersection, police will be able to allow vehicular crossings when there are gaps between running and walking groups.
As an overview, the race starts at Sun King on Broad Ripple Avenue, heads north on the Monon trail to Westfield Boulevard where they then run north on Westfield to 75th Street. They return on the Monon Trail back to Sun King. To see the interactive course map and zoom in, click here.
