Broad Ripple Lights Up , sponsored by Marshall Electrical Contracting,  returns to Broad Ripple this year on Sunday, December 5.  This event includes a Wonderland Village sponsored by The Bungalow with holiday-themed activities and a visit with Santa for the kids and Indianapolis’ only Twilight Holiday Parade sponsored by David Electric down Broad Ripple Avenue!

Mark your calendars NOW for December 5!  The Wonderland Village is open 3-5:00 pm and the Twilight Parade starts at 5:30 down Broad Ripple Avenue!

THE WONDERLAND VILLAGE

The Wonderland Village, sponsored by The Bungalow,  is open from 3:00-5:00 pm before the Parade.  The Village is set up on the Rainbow Bridge on Guilford Avenue next to the Firehouse.  Right where we have the Duck Race festival!

Here you will find free holiday-themed children’s activities such as making ornaments and decorating cookies.  You can also visit Santa and have a photo taken courtesy of Thompson Home Sales.

THE LIGHTS UP PARADE

The Lights Up Holiday Parade, sponsored by David Electric, is held at 5:30 pm on December 5, with line-up starting at 4:30.  The parade marches down Broad Ripple Avenue from the east and then turns and heads east on Westfield Boulevard.  We welcome all groups to join in our community parade.  Entries include floats, decorated cars and trucks, walking groups, or a combination of all of these!  The only requirement is we ask that your vehicle has holiday lights on it.

Sign up for the parade via our online form here.  There is a registration fee to cover the costs of traffic control and city permit fees.  The charge is $30 for non-profits and $50 for all others.  The fee may be paid online and the links are found on the registration form or on the website here.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
All BRVA Members and Non-Members including individual groups, clubs, organizations, businesses, schools, sports teams, bands, performers, etc. are welcome to participate in the parade.  We welcome entries that walk, skate, ride, drive, etc. (Just please no political statements or campaigning).

REQUIREMENTS
The ONLY REQUIREMENT is that your entry MUST BE LIGHTED. We have found that the LED, battery-powered lights work well. They can be purchased at most home goods stores (Target, Lowes, Walmart, Menards, etc.)

The links to pay for the parade fee are found within the registration form and on our website.  You may pay by card online or send a check to the BRVA office.
