BRVA Member Spotlight: Esay Asmaran, 24K Moving

Esay and 24K Moving

Being kind. Being helpful. That’s community.

When Esay Asmaran and his wife, Warm, have looked for places to grow their businesses, they haven’t had to look very far. They’ve kept choosing Broad Ripple.

Together, they’ve invested in the neighborhood through 24K Nails, the soon-to-open Red Dragon Modern Hibachi Grinds, and Esay’s own business, 24K Moving Company. For Esay, each business is another way to become part of a community he has long admired.

“I grew up in Indianapolis, and one of my favorite areas is Broad Ripple,” he says. “It’s safe, it’s family-oriented… and I just love the atmosphere here.”

After nearly two decades preparing taxes, Esay was ready for a new challenge. Drawing on earlier experience in the moving industry, he launched 24K Moving Company three and a half years ago with a simple goal: to make one of life’s most stressful experiences a little easier.

“I like to help the community and make moving easier and affordable for people,” he says. “Moving can be expensive and stressful, so we try to come in and make it easier.”

Helping people, Esay says, isn’t just good business — it’s what community is all about.

“Helping each other out, always being kind, and being helpful. That’s what community is,” he says. “We’re all we got.”

That belief is also what drew him to the Broad Ripple Village Association.

“It’s good exposure for everyone, but it’s also about relationships,” he says. “Business owners in the community get to know each other, network, and support one another. I think that’s a big deal.”

For Esay, BRVA membership is another opportunity to strengthen the connections that make a neighborhood thrive.

When asked what he loves most about Broad Ripple, his answer comes without hesitation.
“The people.”

It’s a simple answer, but one that explains why he and Warm continue to invest in Broad Ripple, and why they believe the neighborhood’s greatest strength has never been its buildings or businesses.

It’s the people who help one another, support one another, and together create a community worth calling home. Join Esay, Warm, and hundreds of other BRVA members in supporting the Broad Ripple Village Association. Together, we’re investing in the relationships that keep Broad Ripple strong.
