Job Opening:Broad Ripple Village Association Member Engagement Coordinator The Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA) is seeking a dynamic, experienced individual to join us as “Member Engagement Coordinator.” A warm, professional and tech-savvy individual would play, in a part-time capacity, a key role on our team. - Diplomatic, warm, responsive, organized, attentive to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work productively in team settings and to deal carefully and accurately with sensitive information
- A willingness to be versatile and flexible, with a self-starter ethic
Skillsets
- Experience with CRM/database software desired but not required
- Experience with photography, videography, and design programs
- Experience with Quickbooks desired but not required
- Experience with Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
- Experience with Constant Contact, MailChimp, and Wix, Squarespace, and/or WordPress
Duties
- Manage the operational activities associated with the BRVA’s Membership Program, including recruiting Members, processing contributions, sending out mail pieces, creating and managing database records, and fulfilling member benefits
- Track metrics and develop reports, success stories, and impact statements to demonstrate the organization’s impact to Members
- Leverage all the BRVA’s communication channels, including social media and eBlasts, to inform Members of their benefits and to inform them of the BRVA’s impact
- Assist in creating fundraising case statements
- Manage volunteers as necessary
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
- Assist with event planning, promotion, and execution
- Liaison with businesses, residents, committees and board members as necessary
CompensationCompensation is comparable to peer non-profits, depending on experience and skillsets the range is approximately $12-$15 per hour. TermThe contract term is for approximately 20 hours per week for approximately 6 months, negotiable based on contractor’s availability. Desired start date is March 15, 2017.
