Businesses: Participate in Small Business Saturday
November 28, 2026
Business Registration Deadline: Monday, November 9
The Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA) is bringing our neighborhood businesses together for Small Business Saturday, and we’d love for you to participate!
We’re organizing a coordinated effort to encourage shoppers to explore local businesses throughout greater Broad Ripple, discover special offers and experiences, and support our local business community during the holiday shopping season.
I already know I want to participate. Take me to the registration page!
How It Works
BRVA is organizing a neighborhood-wide shopping passport to encourage customers to visit participating businesses on Small Business Saturday.
Shoppers will visit businesses, collect passport stamps, and enter prize drawings. We’ll also promote participating businesses and their special offers through a coordinated marketing campaign.
Participating businesses will receive:
- A listing on our Small Business Saturday website, including your hours and special offer or experience.
- Inclusion on our printed shopping passport and/or map. Businesses outside the central mapped area may be listed without appearing on the graphic map.
- Promotion through BRVA’s communications channels, including email and social media.
- BRVA-provided promotional materials to display at your business.
- An opportunity to be considered for our Small Business Saturday promotional video.
We’ll also have a central welcome location at Thieves to help shoppers get started.
Who Can Participate?
Participation is open to businesses that meet the following requirements:
- Locally owned and/or operated small businesses with a physical location in Broad Ripple or the greater Broad Ripple area.
- Current BRVA business members. Not a member yet? Join here.
- Businesses that will be open on Saturday, November 28.
What Do Participating Businesses Need to Do?
1. Offer something special.
Create a special promotion, offer, or customer experience for Small Business Saturday. It doesn’t have to be a discount! Ideas include complimentary samples, a tasting, a demonstration, a free mini-class, a special product, or another creative reason for shoppers to stop in.
2. Welcome passport participants.
Provide a passport stamp to shoppers who visit your business. You may not require a purchase to receive a stamp.
3. Contribute a prize.
Each participating business contributes a $25 gift card (or approved equivalent) for our shopper prize drawings.
4. Help spread the word.
Display BRVA-provided promotional materials and help encourage customers to explore other participating businesses.
Ready to Participate?
Register by Monday, November 9, 2026.
The registration form will ask for your business information, Small Business Saturday hours, special offer or experience, and business logo.
The deadline is important! We need time to finalize our printed passport, map, website listings, and promotional video before November 28.
We’re looking forward to celebrating our local businesses together!
Small Business Saturday in Broad Ripple is organized by the Broad Ripple Village Association.
