Recently the Broad Ripple Village Association office packed up and moved to its new home at 818 Broad Ripple Ave., right on the Village’s main thoroughfare.

Next time you’re in Broad Ripple, stop by and see what our BRVA is doing to support the businesses and residents of our community. You might even catch the BRVA Executive Director Colleen Fanning, in the office and have an opportunity to chat.

Colleen, also a north-side City-County Council member, started her position as Executive Director back in April. In her new capacity she has been working to support the community’s positions regarding the Red Line project, Riverwalk project, public safety concerns, and new development in the Broad Ripple area.

One of her duties this past spring and summer has been to encourage a resolution of the Broad Ripple High School property that is appropriate and desirable for the community. The neighborhood overwhelmingly wants to see an educational or community purpose for the closed school rather than another commercial development.

Keep up with all the activities of the BRVA and developments regarding the high school on the BRVA website here, or their facebook page.
