2020 is off to a great start at the Broad Ripple Village Association. Our Annual Board Retreat was Sunday January 12 at Sun King Brewery (their meeting room options are great!). At our 2019 Fall Public Meeting, our membership voted for our slate of new Board Directors. Here’ a little bit about each of them.

Dr. Latisha Williams is a physical therapist and the owner of Run For Life Performance & Physical Therapy. She is excited to serve of the Membership Committee and Ripple Effect 5K Event Committee.

Rachel Hickey is a Village resident is the co-owner of Pulp Functions, a marketing and promotional company serving many Broad Ripple small businesses. Rachel is the co-chair of our Marketing Committee, and is also helping us plan our 51st birthday celebration.

Nick Bennett is the owner of Local Blitz, a digital marketing firm located right in the middle of Broad Ripple. Nick will be serving on the Membership + Marketing and Beautification Committees this year.

Buffy Heldt is a Broad Ripple resident and the Operations Manager at MKR. As a Buffy will be heading up our Events Committee, as well as being our lead on the Lights Up festival and continuing to volunteer at the Broad Ripple Farmers Market.

Tom Drew is a Broad Ripple resident who works for Birge & Held. He is the co-chair of the Membership + Marketing Committee, and will also be serving on the Economic Development Committee.

We are so excited to have the time, talent and energy of these new individuals on our BRVA team. Please join us in welcoming them as they start their service to our neighborhood.
