Dear Community Members,
Since the second public meeting hosted by Friends of Broad Ripple Village, our public-private partnership between IEDI, Friends of Broad Ripple Village (FoBR), and CSO has continued to grow and strengthen. As shared during our initial public outreach, our collective goal is to develop the framework of a redevelopment plan for Broad Ripple that addresses immediate priorities while also incorporating thoughtful long-term planning.
In the time since our last meeting, representatives from the Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development (DMD) have provided valuable guidance and information throughout this process. Their input has been instrumental in helping shape our next steps and ensuring we continue to strengthen communication and collaboration with the City.
We invite you to join us for our next public meeting on Tuesday, April 21 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm ET, at the Indianapolis Arts Center. During this meeting, we will provide an update on the progress made thus far, including the presentation of new renderings for public review as part of the recommendation phase. We will also share how our partnership will continue working with city agencies and community stakeholders as the planning process moves forward. Most importantly, the meeting will provide an opportunity for members of the public to offer constructive feedback and help shape the future of Broad Ripple.
Ahead of the public meeting, we will also be holding direct conversations with Broad Ripple stakeholders and elected officials to gather additional input and perspectives.
Thank you for your continued interest and engagement throughout this process. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at brmp2026@gmail.com.
We look forward to seeing you on April 21st at the Indy Arts Center!
Sincerely,
Friends of Broad Ripple Village
