Join us on Saturday, May 4 and Saturday, October 5 from 2-6pm for the Broad Ripple Art Walk presented by Eight Eleven Group! The Broad Ripple Art Walk features neighborhood galleries, boutiques, restaurants, offices, and shops, each hosting their own unique art exhibit or live music.

The Broad Ripple Art Walk is a self guided tour of participating businesses that feature art exhibits of both local and national artists. Participating businesses are scattered throughout the Village, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful afternoon experiencing Broad Ripple and supporting the arts community.

Need a convenient location to start the Art Walk? Ride the IndyGo Red Line or park for free at the Indianapolis Art Center (820 E 67th Street). Then start your walk from there! You might also want to park at the public parking garage at 6280 N. College Avenue.

2024 Spring Art Walk Participants

  • Hotel Broad Ripple will host the work of Diane Andrews.

  • The Source welcomes artist Ashleigh M. Ferreira-Bartlett, A Tiny Art Garage.

  • Marigold Clothing features local jewelry artist Jill Dunn’s one-of-a-kind metal and stone earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings.

  • Create Art Studio will be highlighting work from artists who also teach at their studio including Meghan McGovern, Lars Lawson, Penelope Dullaghan, Meagan Wilson, Lesli Lenover, Megan Benson, Karyn Lay, Alexandra Geske, Chelsea Powers, Margaret Durbin, Eliza Mowery, and Jessica Green,. Enjoy live music from DJ Beast and wine tasting from Zachary Rinaldi, sommelier. Meet Create’s May Artist of the Month, Megan Benson, and sign up for her May workshops and class offerings.

  • Meredith B Studios who makes beautiful earrings and bookmarks out of real, hand-pressed florals and foliage preserved in high quality resin will be on display and for sale at Lola Blu Boutique.

  • Foundry 317 will host oil painter Sandy Roob.

  • 317 BBQ + Centerpoint Brewing presents their 3rd “Gallery in the Garage” and will feature a variety of local artists blended in in our Tap Room.

  • Artifacts welcomes ceramic artist Lisa Rader.

  • Lars Lawson and his Indiana themed prints, t-shirts, and candles can be found at The Bungalow.

  • Pilates Indy will host a group of their friends and clients.

  • St. Lukes Midtown Gallery brings you  artist Karla Becker. Karla is donating the proceeds from all her sales to Girls for Success School (GFS) in Costa Rica.

  • Local artist Kathy Fehn will be highlighted at Gallery 6202.

  • The Indiana Music History Project, housed at Flanner Buchanan, welcomes a one day only Beatles exhibit from the collection of Tom Fontaine in their newly designed gallery. In addition, “The Great Indiana Artists in the Flanner Buchanan Collection – from Yesterday to Today,” will feature a special portfolio of Gustave Baumann works. And grab a gourmet dog from the Hungry Hippiefood truck outside!

Just show up! Check out the map of participating businesses closer to the event and either plot out your day or go where the wind takes you!

Any business in Broad Ripple is invited to participate. The guidelines for participation are:
  1. Be open to the public for the entirety of the event.
  2. Have art on display, a music performance, or another creative engagement of your own design. This can be inside your business or outside. If you regularly have artwork on your walls, you should have new featured pieces for the event, or add an element such as an artist being present during the event.
  3. There is no fee to participate. However, we do ask that you be a current member of the Broad Ripple Village Association to be part of the marketing materials.
  4. Help us promote the event by sharing information through your social media.

There’s no fee to participate! To be included in the marketing materials, you must be an active BRVA member. For membership information, email the BRVA at info@brva.org, or check out the membership options on this website.

The BRVA can assist your business in finding an artist to display in your space. Due to the additional coordination required, please notify us as soon as possible.
