Join us on Saturday, May 4 and Saturday, October 5 from 2-6pm for the Broad Ripple Art Walk sponsored by Eight Eleven Group! The Broad Ripple Art Walk features neighborhood galleries, boutiques, restaurants, offices, and shops, each hosting their own unique art exhibit or live music.

The Broad Ripple Art Walk is a self guided tour of participating businesses that feature art exhibits of both local and national artists. Participating businesses are scattered throughout the Village, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful afternoon experiencing Broad Ripple and supporting the arts community.

Need a convenient location to start the Art Walk? Ride the IndyGo Red Line or park for free at the Indianapolis Art Center (820 E 67th Street). Then start your walk from there! You might also want to park at the public parking garage at 6280 N. College Avenue.

2023 Fall Art Walk Participants

  • Hotel Broad Ripple will host the watercolor artist group Between Paint and Palette.

  • The Source welcomes artist Kristen Toussaint and Loop Permanent Jewelry.

  • Marigold Clothing features jewelry artist Lily Pai and textile clothing artist Andrea Greer.

  • Create Art Studio is highlighting work done by artists who will also be teaching at their studio including Margaret Durbin, Alexandra Geske, Meghan of Bumble and Bird, Meagan Wilson, Lesli Lenover, Karyn Lay, Eliza Mowery, Jessica Green, and Chelsea Powers as well as music from DJ Beast.

  • Lark & Lily will feature painter Britt Ritchie.

  • Artwork from students at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired will be on display and for sale at Lola Blu Boutique.

  • The Electric Martinis will be performing at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria.

  • Foundry 317 will host interior designer and painter Hayden Worth.

  • 317 BBQ + Centerpoint Brewing welcomes abstract artist and photographer Anthony Armstrong.

  • Carrie Wild will be on site at Artifacts displaying her flora and fauna paintings.

  • Fashion yourself an artist? Visit 317 Burger to learn about their “Burger Art” contest and your work may be chosen for display!

  • The Quarter will feature Matthew Aaron and his work that you can find throughout Broad Ripple Village.

  • Flanner Buchanan is home to the Indiana Music History Project and will highlight their State Fair Music exhibit.

  • Pilates Indy will host a group of their friends and clients including artists Emmy Meyer, Jan Johnson, John Kohan, and Jaedyn Dordel; photographers Freddie Kelvin, Nicholas Proust, and Laura Yurs; jeweler Mark Snelson; and potter Margot Alley.

  • Goodfella’s Pizzeria invites you to participate in a coloring contest including free breadsticks. They will also have work on display form a student at the Indianapolis Art Center.

  • Condado Tacos and Royal Realty are collaborating to present woodworker David Craske.

  • Indianapolis Art Center student Seronia will share her jewelry line Seronia Bonita at 24K Nail Spa.

  • Gallery 6202‘s featured artist will be photographer Jack Wickes.

  • St. Lukes Midtown Gallery brings you watercolor artist Timothy Lewis.

FAQs

Just show up! Check out the map of participating businesses closer to the event and either plot out your day or go where the wind takes you!

Any business in Broad Ripple is invited to participate. The guidelines for participation are:
  1. Be open to the public on the Saturday, April 15 from 1-4 pm.
  2. Have art on display, a music performance, or another creative engagement of your own design. This can be inside your business or outside. If you regularly have artwork on your walls, you should have new featured pieces for the event, or add an element such as an artist being present during the event.
  3. There is no fee to participate. However, we do ask that you be a current member of the Broad Ripple Village Association to be part of the marketing materials.
  4. Help us promote the event by sharing information through your social media.

There’s no fee to participate! To be included in the marketing materials, you must be an active BRVA member, have completed your interest form by March 3, and have submitted your final plan by March 17. The Art Walk committee can assist your business in finding an artist to display in your space. Due to the additional coordination required, please notify us as soon as possible.
