Baked Apples with Brie and Honey

recipe from Delish

  • 4 large baking apples, halved horizontally
  • 8 oz. brie-style cheese, sliced
  • 3 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. chopped walnuts

  1. Preheat oven to 400°. Top apple bottoms with brie, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with walnuts. Place tops back onto apples.
  2. Transfer to a baking dish and bake until apples are soft and bubbly and cheese is oozy, 35 minutes. Makes 4 servings.

Any of the creamy soft cheeses from Tulip Tree Creamery would be perfect in this recipe. Apples from Wild’s Apple Farm and honey from Eagle Creek Apiary almost complete the list of ingredients. All you need that you can’t get at the Market is the walnuts.
