For the 30th Anniversary of the Broad Ripple Farmers Market, an image from 1996 has been given new life.

Signed, limited-edition reproduction prints of Scott Johnson’s original 1996 artwork commissioned by John Hill debuted for sale on September 14 at the Broad Ripple Farmers Market as part of the month-long celebration and will be available all month. The image was created by Johnson back in 1996 when the market was only two years old and used to promote the fledgling enterprise.

A stylized adaptation of the same artwork is featured on the back of a t-shirt that will be available for purchase starting Saturday, September 21.  The front reads “Saturday Morning Tradition” which aptly describes what the BRFM has become over three decades of bringing fresh local food to the Broad Ripple Community.
