Vendor Highlights for July 18, Week #3
VENDOR NEWS & UPDATES:
- Look for fresh produce like cantaloupes, watermelons, sweet corn, peaches, cherries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, plums, zucchini, English shell peas, green beans, scallions, leeks, garlic, celery, lettuce, kale, kohlrabi, cabbage, Swiss chard, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, radishes, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, peppers, herbs, mushrooms, and fresh picked flowers!
- Jason Michael Thomas had foraged chanterelle mushrooms last Saturday. If we’re lucky, he’ll have them again!
- Johnnie Raber Family Farm had the first cantaloupes and watermelons last week. Must be summer!
- Full Hand Farm will be out 7/25 so stock up this Saturday!
- Dot Dot Dumplings and Wild Alaska Salmon & Seafood are back after being out on 7/4.
- Shake Up and Sun to Spoon are both new vendors to the Market this year. Be sure to check them out this week.

- Oulala is out this week but joining us off schedule next week 7/25.
- Primal Delights is out this week, back next week.
- Corea Kimchi is out this week for a wedding – back next week.
- Lick Ice Cream will be out this Saturday due to technical issues with their machinery. They will join us next week off schedule.

- Hey Porter Real Estate Services is back with us this week. Stop and say hello! Andy is really friendly and he loves your dogs.

Remember to bring CASH for the few vendors who don’t take credit cards (Norman Mullet Farm, Johnnie Raber Family Farm, and Phelps Family Farm).
Lost & Found items are turned in to the BRFM Information booth – be sure to check there if you’ve lost something at the Market.
WHAT’S COOKING: Roasted Zucchini Soup
When it’s hot outside, prep this soup by roasting the zucchini first thing in the morning before temperatures start to climb. Then stick it in the fridge until time to blend for supper. The cold soup makes a delicious dinner!

Squirrel Butter, a duo consisting of Charlie Beck & Charmaine Slaven, musically explore old-time, bluegrass, blues, country, & Cajun genres on the banjo, guitar, fiddle, steel guitar, step-dance, and song. We’re happy to have them back at the Market!
