This season we are located at Broad Ripple Middle School, formerly Broad Ripple High School, at 1115 Broad Ripple Ave. Please use entrance 8 on the southside of the building, or entrance 1 on the northside.
1. What are your hours?
The Winter Market is open Saturday mornings 9:00 am to noon, November through April. No customers are admitted to the Market prior to opening.
2. Are dogs allowed at the Market?
No. Just like grocery stores, dogs are not allowed. Service dogs that are properly identified are allowed.
3. Where do I park at the Market?
The entrance to the Market is located on the southside of Broad Ripple Middle School through door number 8, or you may use door number 1 on the northside. There is a parking lot located south of the building. There will be handicapped parking close to the entrance. Parking lot traffic will be one way in off Compton and one way out onto 61st Street. Overflow parking is available in the parking lot behind Einstein’s Bagels, Flanner and Buchanan, and along the streets in the neighborhoods surrounding the School. View our parking map here.
4. Is there a vendor map?
Yes, you will always find the weekly vendor map on our Market map page. You may also find a list of vendors here.
5. Do vendors accept credit/debit cards?
Yes, almost all vendors accept credit or debit cards. There are a few who only take cash, such as Norman Mullet Farm and Phelps Family Farm.
6. Does all of the produce and other products actually come from local farms?
Yes! All produce, meat, and poultry is raised by the farmer present at the Market. We suggest you talk to the farmer who is usually at their booth to learn more. We prioritize products which are grown or raised using environmentally responsible, sustainable, and humane methods. (Note: there are a few exceptions such as shrimp/seafood not found locally that may be approved by the Market).
7. Where are the trash cans?
You will find them by the Indy Go Green booth in the main room of vendors near the entrance. If you cannot locate them, stop by the BRFM Info booth for directions.
Please separate your trash into the three receptacles: composting, recycling, and landfill. There are signs to assist you. The food containers and napkins/paper towels used at the Market are compostable. The signs will indicate where to place your trash.
8. Are there restrooms?
Yes, they are located inside in the main room of the Market. Stop by the BRFM info table near the entrance for directions.
9. Do you accept SNAP/EBT?
Yes, we participate in the SNAP/Fresh Bucks program! Stop by the BRFM info table near the entrance and a volunteer can assist you. More information may be found here.
10. Is smoking allowed at the Market?
No, we are a smoke-free Market and smoking is not allowed in the building or the parking lot. This includes vaping devices.
11. Is there a Lost and Found?
Yes, check the BRFM Information Booth at the Entrance/Exit of the Market. If you discovered you left something important behind after the Market closed, email us at info@brfm.org.
12. How do I become a vendor to your market?
We are a food-focused market and only accept applications from vendors selling food products. Visit our vendor application page here for more information.
13. Can I set up a table to promote my business or organization?
We do not offer vendor booth space for non-food items such as crafts, artwork, or clothing. Similarly, we do not offer booth space for not-for-profit organizations or businesses seeking to promote their organizations.
