Ladies and Gentlemen, Start Your Shopping!

It’s a big weekend here in Indianapolis with Memorial Day on Monday and the Indy 500 on Sunday. There will be plenty of backyard cookouts happening and the Market has lots of fresh veggies, ripe fruit, meats for grilling, beverages, condiments, baked goods, and more to celebrate the holiday and the race. You’ll also find what you need to spend the long weekend working on your garden or flower beds. Don’t forget porch/patio pots and hanging baskets!

WHAT’S COOKING: Trio of Classic Sides

There are plenty of great side dishes for summer cookouts. But for Memorial Day weekend you don’t have all the great vegetables that will arrive later in the season. You can still create a fabulous menu with three classic sides that use fresh produce you can find at the Market in May.
