Vendor Highlights for September 26, Week #4

VENDOR NEWS & UPDATES:

Look for fresh produce like pumpkins, grapes, lettuce, radishes, beets, winter squash, beans, okra, leeks, garlic, celery, kale, cabbage, chard, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, potatoes, eggplant, sweet & hot peppers (including jalapenos), fresh flowers and mums!
This is the last week of the season for Walking Waffles. Be sure to stop by and try one of their delicious Belgian style waffles for breakfast.
Christopher Farm will have fall flowers, lots of arugula, fennel, ginger, and varieties of garlic this week. No lettuce mix though.
Jason Michael Thomas is bringing pumpkin spice sourdough focaccia this Saturday and PAW PAWS!
Kuacha & me(h) will bring apple streudel, apple bread, and chocolate hazelnut pumpkin cake in addition to their usual baked goods.
Filigree Bakery will have Rosemary Maple Biscuit breakfast sandwiches.
Moonlight Baking will be bringing more product this week and going forward since Bake Sale is out.
Look for fresh local lettuce, jalapenos, and blueberries at multiple vendors!

Schedule Changes / Vendors Out This Week:

Oulala is joining us this Saturday in place of Zenward Tea and Wellness who was with us last week.
Lick Ice Cream will be with us this Saturday.
My Dad’s Sweet Corn is out this week but will be back next week and possibly on 10/10.
La Chinita Poblana and Daily Blossom are out this Saturday participating in the Rocky Ripple event.
Balanced Harvest is out this week due to flower damage.
Groomsville Popcorn and Artisano’s Oils & Spices are out due to staffing.
Barn Talk, Primal Delights and Turchetti’s Salumeria are out this Saturday- expected back next week.
ARPO, Guacamole & More, and Johnnie Raber Family Farm are now out for the season.
Bake Sale Bakery is out for the season. They will no longer be doing markets, but expanding and focusing on their storefront.

SPECIAL GUESTS:

Indivisible Central Indiana – will be at the Market again this week checking and doing voter registration.
AYR – one of our summer market sponsors is joining us this Saturday. Stop in and say hello and thank them for their support.

WHAT’S COOKING: Ina Garten’s Apple Cinnamon Dutch Baby

Fall is officially here and cooler temperatures with it. Celebrate the season and fresh local food with a delicious Dutch Baby (big oven-baked pancake) made with lovely autumn apples. It’s fun and fabulous for a special breakfast or show-stopping dessert. YUM!

Andrew Brozek is a Montana-raised singer/songwriter whose music combines generations-old traditions with a sentimental disposition. He has an elegant lyricism which calls to mind a bygone era. Enjoy the musical trip back in time while you shop the Market!

MUSICAL GUEST: South – Dan Kusaya

Danmore Kusaya is a one-man band — cool, likeable, and totally unique. His musical mix is world and afrobeat-groovy. He uses story-like lyrics, and looping of multiple instruments while performing original songs and much more. This week he will be joined by members of his drum circle.
